Evidence has emerged to suggest that the Atlantic Council, an American deep state think tank, may have had a hand in the recent arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
On June 21, 2024, the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensics Research (DFR) Lab held a conference called “Another Battlefield: Telegram as a digital front in Russia’s war against Ukraine” that, like its name suggests, framed the very existence of Telegram as a Russian weapon against Ukraine and, ultimately, the West.
If you are interested, here is the roughly hour-long footage from the conference so you can see and hear for yourself the Atlantic Council’s anti-Telegram agenda:
We know from the recently unearthed Twitter Files that the Atlantic Council has a lot of power over censorship in the United States. The DFR Lab controlled by the Atlantic Council was described by Michael Shellenberger in his testimony before the Judiciary Committee as “one of the most established and influential full-time censorship institutions in the world.”
The Atlantic Council would not exist as it currently does, by the way, without funding from U.S. government agencies, which themselves are funded by U.S. taxpayers and the Federal Reserve’s money-printing machines. Notorious Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk is also a major funder of the Atlantic Council.
(Related: The globalist deep state will not stop at just Durov: their goal is to stamp out all free speech and those who promote or facilitate it worldwide.)
At one point, Tucker Carlson interviewed Durov. This prompted Radio Free Europe, a network that was controlled by the CIA for the first 20 years of its existence, to run a hit piece – see Mike Benz’s tweet below – claiming that the Russian government is secretly in charge of Telegram and that Ukraine must seize control of the platform instead.
2 weeks after Tucker interviewed Pavel, the CIA-founded Radio Free Europe (run directly by the CIA for its first 20 years), ran a long piece insinuating Russia was secretly controlling Telegram & Ukraine must seize control of it instead as a military intelligence imperative. pic.twitter.com/w1sL1YpWRM

Every time Durov gets any kind of major attention, in other words, the powers that be are ready at the helm to smear him and the Telegram platform as Russian assets. It sounds a whole lot like the media’s constant Russia, Russia, Russia! nonsense from Donald Trump’s first presidential terms.
Fast-forward to the late summer of 2024 and now Durov is in custody after landing in his private plane at Bourget airport in France. He is being charged with all sorts of crimes that Telegram users, and not Durov himself, are accused of committing.
It sure looks like the Atlantic Council is at least partially responsible for what is now happening to Durov, as is the U.S. military-industrial complex and the many intelligence agencies that keep it operational and in control of Western hegemony.
The reason why they hate Durov so much is that unlike Mark Zuckerberg and other establishment social media platform heads, Durov is unwilling to compromise his users’ privacy. Durov never complies with government orders for private data because he knows this type of warrantless intrusion is wrong and only accelerates the world’s plunge into tyranny.
There is clearly an identifiable pattern at work where deplatforming and hit pieces are no longer enough: The deep state is now resorting to warrantless arrests, indictments and imprisonment to punish Durov and others like him who value the right to free speech and privacy.
